Challenge
Challenge of the Week CXCIV
Dionysus. You've been summoned by the Greek god of wine, Dionysus. Your charge: make him laugh. The penalty of failure: execution. Fiction or non-fiction, poetry or Prose.
Dionysus
If I give you a cup of white wine, you'll get a bit drowsy
If I give you a cup of red wine, you'll nod off here and there
You go from well Greek god to a member of the lowest class
You have no power where Hades rules
You are an illegitimate child
You feign royalty
You spend your time wasting away, drinking, instead of watching the humans
You had a chance to step up and be a god, but you chose your wine
Then you are hurt when your royalty and legitimacy is questioned
Your choices have led you to this point
If I give you a cup of white wine, you'll get a bit drowsy
If I give you a cup of red wine, you'll nod off here and there
