ORBEN CHAPTER ONE:The Floating Train
Every city had a story and the story of Dern city was Orben, a small town deep in the forest. It had all the magical creatures you could think of and it just disappeared with no trace that it was ever there. The story was told all over Dern and it was starting to wear out. Some said it was never there, some said it caught fire but the the aged kept saying that it was there.
Aurora Robert, the only heir to the Robert Empire was quite determined to find Orben. She couldn’t breathe fresh air without her bodyguards, they even followed her into the restroom. She busied herself with the only thing that could take her out of her suffocating world; readingd. One day while roaming around the library as usual she came about a glowing book. She pulled it out and on it in gold letters was the title ‘ORBEN’. Curious she read and read and couldn’t finish rereading because the pages increased with every page she read. She had promised never to leave Dern until she found Orben but as they say, life is what happens when you are busy making other plans.
‘AURORA!’
‘Coming nana’ she answered closing the glowing book.
She had always devoted most of her time reading hoping to find where Orben was or why it disappeared but she never found it. Returning the glowing book back into a huge shelf by her bed,she left her room pulling her luggage behind her.
Aurora had been told she could read the ABC’s that she was to graduate from Quinex College in Chervils city. She never had a problem with it since she believed she would have found Orben by then and bodyguards couldn’t come with her to college. The day had come but Orben was no where in sight.
'Good morning nana' she greeted when she got to the dining room and took a seat.
Aurora had never known her mother and her nanny Stacy who was her dad's childhood friend was the only mother figure in her life.
'Good morning baby' her nanny Stacy replied.
'I am not a baby anymore.Nana I am sixteen almost seventeen'she said.
'Whatever, you will always be my baby now hurry up before your dad comes to pull you away' her nanny told her and she immediately began on her breakfast.
'Good morning Stacy' her father greeted.
'Good morning Jackie' her nanny replied.
'Good morning dad' Aurora greeted with a mouthful.
'Good morning princess' her dad replied taking a seat.

'Princess I am so sorry I can't see you off' her father apologized for the hundredth time.
'It's okay dad. I wouldn't want you to put off your meeting because of me' she reassured him.
'Thank you princess.I love you. Call me when you get there' he said and drove off.
Staring at his car in the distance,it finally registered; she was all alone for the very first time. With a smile on her face she pulled her luggage into Dern's Train Station. Showing her ticket, she was told the directions to get to her train. She was about to head to it when she saw a bookshop. Excitedly she pulled her luggage and headed to the bookshop instead since she had thirty minutes to spare.
'Goof morning ma'am.I would like to see your fantasy novels' she said to
the woman at the counter.
'Follow me' the woman said and she
followed her.
She was shown the section for fantasy novels. After thanking the woman, she started looking for a novel that would keep her company during the train ride. She was searching for a novel on Unicorns when something caught her eye,she saw a train standing mid-air.
