Refined

Dear Diary,

I met a sunflower today,

So full of light.

Unsure of what to do,

On whether i believed in magic true,

I took it out and set out on a task,

Through a dark path with heavy gloom.

I sang a song in plea of a glow,

Just like a child, my tune so low.

And there came a change? a miracle?

Awakened i was, bright with no clue,

with my sunflower in my hands making me anew.
