The desire of my Heart’s Eyes
Waving between the dim sunny roof,
Among the windy rustling, aloof,
Bestowed by some heavenly grace,
The golden glitters at every pace,
So pious so bright,
As the nymph of night,
That creature makes the sun so bright,
The star so shine, the moon so lights,
The air becomes so sacred, so holy,
It is to make for that beloved one only,
The clime was filled with colors seven,
Pouring forth all the aroma of heaven.
Such an enchantment my eyes never felt,
Too much ecstasy my soul never sent
All the scents and sights of the world,
Can never make such a miraculous cult,
In such a bounteous warm season,
To stay still there I have a reason.
Surrounded by so many graces there, lies,
Astoundingly! The desire of my heart's eyes!
