Save Us

200,000 years have passed since we, humankind roamed on the surface of Earth. 200,000 years have we evolved, from the first generation of mankind to today, where we are about the 7,500th generation. From the first hunter-gatherers to todays' people, us. No doubt that the humans from the past are looking down on us, with all the global phenomenons and issues today. Sure, technology is advancing, faster as ever. Now we have houses with air-conditioning, cars for transportation, and even a child as young as 2 might have an iPad to play games on. But comparing that to global phenomena, social injustices, and cultural injustices that are present today, there is definitely a lot of area to improve on.

But what is the problem? Is it just our differences, or is there something bigger? Is it our feelings toward other people? To resolve global phenomena, first we have to resolve disputes between nations. And to resolve disputes between nations, we have to respect each other. Respect different cultures, respect religion, respect gender, respect race.

Jealousy. That is a huge factor of today’s global issues. From jealousy of another nation’s wealth, to jealousy of another person’s health, to a person’s huge number of supporters. Why are we jealous? We are the brothers and sisters of one another, our ancestors have lived and passed down the heirlooms of life. They would not wish their children to be fighting, battling, killing each other. Each person who has more wealth and health is another person who is happy on this planet. Isn’t it great to have more happiness in the world? While you are there, hurting people, being malicious, and fighting the people better than you. Just think, if it were you, wouldn’t you want to be happy? Perhaps it is you, and you are only hurting yourself. You are only bringing more problems to yourself and more wrongdoings to yourself by doing that, and you will have to pay in the future. Would you want other people to try to take away things that are rightfully yours, when you are doing the right thing?

We want more good than bad in this world. Support everyone, uplift everyone, save us.
