Pond of Reflection

Falling through the cracks

A lovelorn face

Times that pass

Makes me suffer the fate

Of an elder female’s worries

When a woman of youth

Is the visage viewed

As I cross the pond of reflection

Renewed

Pondering a way

Not to sink

Not to sway

But to have love

One for the other
