All Night Long

Rolling across the darkest night,

I see the moon spread her wings,

and begin her flight.

Slowly she treks across the blackened ocean

Pale and sad.

She trudges through the deepest waters,

and dodges the stars, while whispering

her Favorite song.

She sails her way through the stars,

parting the weary clouds.

Faithfully she takes her leave every night

but changes her disguise.

You look at her, amazed, for the clever moon has once again

brilliantly changed her size.

With seldom break, she finds her path,

and sheds her glories over the earth,

singing her favorite song,

All the night long.
