Eyes open in the haunting moonlight

Terror soaks the sheets in the night

A twitch and a spasm spread so fast

Growl and hiss lead to a howl at last

Gnashing teeth hunger for mortal blood

A crash through the window into the mud

Scamper up the hill in search of juicy prey

Better find a feast before the light of day
