How America almost lost the battle for the American Soul

Has American has taken the low ground

On this 2020 Election Day

How could they nearly re-elect a racist?

Such is a nation in disarray

For every vote that was being counted

Seems is not the Republican way

When there is widespread voter suppression

Most Americans won’t have their say

If this election was decided

By courts that Trump has packed

That will give him a clear path for retribution

Upon Democrats and whom they backed

There is profound disappointment

Because America has lost its soul

Where “Liberty & Justice for All”

No longer is this nations goal

I cannot stress this enough

It cannot be okay

We are dividing into two nations

When these differences are in play

This might be the final blow

Republicans Winning on Election Day

Embracing a ruthless dictator

Much to the worlds dismay
