Time won’t heal anything

Things I thought I would never remember are still haunting me by day

the memories I have, the stories I repeat are the ones from that promised to stay

The letters I burned the presents I crushed didn't make the pain sway

they say time is the cure to all the dark days but there certainly must be another way
