they say when you get to hell the devil allows you to make one phone call

he leads you down the stairs to a single payphone and you dial their number , slowly, preparing for the last time you will hear their voice . what will you say ? (what could you say ?) - your chest is pounding and you keep waiting for them to pick up - you keep waiting to hear their goddamn holy voice that could've (should've) once made you pray to god ; your chest pounds with excitement, longing , anticipation --
