A Day In The Life Of A Modern Vampire 4
When two in the afternoon came around, Liam got ready to leave. “Sir, here’s the schedule for the next few weeks.” Sadie said, “Did you work on this with Hailey and Weston?” Liam asked, leaving his office.
“Yes, sir.” Liam took the papers and looked at them.
Weston would be staying back with Sadie and Hailey that night.
Bentley and Harriet would open up on Thursday morning.
Everett and Weston would close.
Friday morning, Liam and Hailey would open and close.
“Alright. Make sure to let everyone know. See you.” Liam said, and Sadie nodded. Liam smiled and left the library. Liam got in his car and started to drive to the middle school the triplets went to.
Liam happily sighed and turned into the carpool line. He was estatic to see his children. He hadn’t seen them since the night before. That was a very long time to him.
Liam waited and saw his children come out of the school. He smiled as he watched Logan and Leon run to the car. “Come on, come on, come on!” Logan rushed his brother in the front seat and they squished in the seat together. “I’m not sitting back there with that demon.” Logan said, closing the door and buckling up. Leon helped Logan and then looked at his father.
“Logan..I’m sorry..” “Dad..please.”
“Back seat.” Liam said, and Lillian walked over to the car. Leon watched his brother get out of the seat and went to sit in the very back of the car. “Hi, Dad!” Lillian said, with a smile and got in the car. She sat in the middle of the twins’ car seats and pulled out her phone.
“Hi, Lillian..” Liam sighed, as he glanced at the rear view mirror and saw some of Loga’s dark green hair in the third row of the car.
When Liam drove to the house, Lillian talked about her day and Leon stared out the window. Logan was laying down listening to music..until something large and heavy fell on him. “Get up, Logan.” Lillian said, seeing that her seat fell on her brother perfectly. Leon got up and moved the seat off of his brother.
“Are you okay, Logan?” Leon signed and Logan slowly nodded when Leon helped him up. “You mute idi-” “Lillian.” The three of them froze and slowly looked at their father.
“I-I just-” Liam glared at her but was stopped by a pull. Liam turned to Neon and switched immediately.
“Go inside. Now.” Neon said, and everyone was scared for their lives. Liam took the twins and the boys rushed inside. Neon and Lillian were left alone. Outside.
“Papa, I’m sorry, I won’t do it again!” Neon approached Lillian and she moved away. “What are you apologizing for?” Neon signed, “T-The seat..I didn't think..”
“Exactly..you should think before you do.” “I promise! I’m sorry, Papa!” Lillian cried.
“And if you ever..call Leon out of his name ever again...” “I won’t!”
Liam sighed in relief and sat down on the chair in the living room. The other children had already gone in their rooms. Liam got up when Neon and Lillian came in.
If Neon ever used his voice, he was very serious. It was very rare for Neon to use his voice.
"Liam.." Neon whispered, and Liam rushed over. "Yes?"
"Can you make dinner?..I'm tired.." Neon looked at the ground, tiredly. "Of course, yeah, you go get some rest." Liam said, rubbing Neon's arms. Lillian had tried to slip through and escape but Liam caught her arm after Neon walked off.
"Lillian..go apologize to your brothers." Liam said, his gaze darkening. "I-I would- but Logan wouldn't accept it."
"Then you better mean your apology." Neon said, before letting go and she rushed up the stairs. Neon sighed and tried to calm down but then his phone rang, making him alarmed.
