Writer's Block
I'm sure we've all experienced this dreadful thing at least once in our lives. The most important part to overcoming it is to just write, start somewhere, even if it's just random words. Write about it: how it feels, how to overcome it, any advices for fellow writers etc. Anything goes. Have fun and don't forget to tag me :)

Heart to Heart

I've been writing for the better part of my life but due to personal problems I pulled away from my passion for four consecutive years. I just recently started to try and create verbal art again after my four year writer's block, if I can call it that, and throughout this time I dared not to even touch a pencil unless absolutely necessary. Whenever I tried to pour my heart out on the page I felt like such an imposter and my words felt hollow and false, like they were from another hand. For these four years the urge to do anything was an insurmountable challenge and the heaviness of writer's block drowned out my creative spark from within my soul outward, taking my heart along with it. I thought I would never get it back until one day, I did. Obviously it wasn't this easy, I had to do plenty of healing and internal work to even get out of bed much less want to write again. But I just want to say that for anyone struggling with depression, loneliness, etc… Better days are coming, do what you love and if you feel like you can't and do what you can to feel better.
