THE DAY OF HIS BIRTH
Love is all around us on this Blessed Day, “The Birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ” where we found Joseph and Mary searching for a place to lie their heads for the night.
Over and over again they were turned away, they knew of the Prophecy of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ “The Savior of the World” they searched and searched in vain finally finding only a lowly manger to lie their heads, with only animals to witness his birth with the Star of David shorn over their heads.
What a tremendous responsibility and blessing that was thrusted upon them for they were to raise the son of God without a penny to their name as they carved (carpenters) out his life so as to fill the prophecy of his birth and life.
All around the world we celebrate the birth of Jesus on this “Blessed Day” where we pour out gifts to one another showing our praise and our conviction to his name.
“Let us not forget this is the day we celebrate the day the son of god was born, our great redeemer.”
Let us bow our heads in thanks.
