Fell out, stumbled back (Part 1????)
Nate refreshed Twitch once more. Nothing but the usual, overhyped streamers on the Among Us side. He loved Among Us, but most of the streamers who played now were so famous, you'd barely even be noticed if you said hi, or asked a question, or even dropped a follow.
He sighed as he scanned the streams that popped up. Popular Among Us, Minecraft, Fortnite??? Oh, look. There's an Among Us stream with only forty-three people, and he didn't recognize the name.
Kabang_Studios' voice jumped up an octave as she noticed her viewer count go up one. "Oh! Hello! Welcome to the stream! I hope you enjoy!"
She got a few comments on how cheerful she always sounded whenever she got a new viewer, and she laughed a bit as she connected a few wires in the hallway of MiraHQ. She finished her task, and saw Purple just standing next to her. She ran her cyan character up the hall, down the other, and behind the satellite dish on the balcony.
"The imposters can't find me here!" She said triumphantly.
you always sound so happy to just be there. are we ever going to get a face reveal?
"Mm, a face reveal really isn't on my agenda right now, sorry. I play on mobile, as you guys have probably guessed, since I sometimes forget to turn off my notifications. So I really can't do a face cam, and I kinda don't want to spend money to put the game on my pc, and stream from that same pc." She sighed. "Maybe in a month or two? I kinda have to work up the courage, I guess."
Nate contemplated whether or not he should make a comment, but opted to stay quiet for the moment. He wanted to learn more about this streamer.
At that time, Kabang decided to go finish her tasks, and moved from behind the satellite dish, and started heading to reactor and lab. She made it into the hallway with no one around her, and was waiting at the far end for the animation to stop so she could go through the door. As the smoke stopped, Purple walked up.
"Oh, hey, it's purple," Kabang remarked, before it hit her like a truck. "OH NO IT'S PURPLE!"
Nate laughed as she verbally keyboard smashed, trying to escape. She ran back down the hallway and opened the door, being trailed by Purple the whole time. She managed to get out of the hallway, and ran into Pink and Yellow coming out of Cafeteria. She huddled between them, slowly becoming more coherent.
"Okay, we're safe, we're safe, I'm safe- OH MY WORD IT WAS YELLOW AND PURPLE NOOOO!"
Nate laughed again as she wiggled her ghost despairingly. She sighed, and went to go finish her tasks. He listened as she continued talking in her soft, yet somehow slightly loud voice.
"I like being a ghost anyway, it's easier to do tasks. Less stress about being killed, no obstacles, and you don't have to worry about crises events!" She cheered as the lights went off. "And that's how the imposters are most likely going to wi- Oh? Hey, someone found the bodies! Yay!"
The streamer went silent as the accusations went flying across the chat board. She sighed as most said it was probably Red, until Red said they'd seen Yellow pop out of a vent just prior to lights going out. They had been going to hit the button if possible, but someone had found the bodies first.
The discussion went by fast, with most people deciding to vote out Yellow, but Yellow announced who they were sus of, and stubbornly voted Red instead. Anonymous votes were on, so it was surprise when Red had two votes. Kabang and her viewers knew it was Yellow and Purple, but no one else did.
Yellow had been ejected and confirmed as imposter, and the five remaining players continued on, many of the ghosts haunting the imposter instead of doing their tasks.
Nate decided after a while that this was an interesting streamer. She named herself Streaming so people knew what they were getting into, and hosted public lobbies, so harldy any games were the same. Her reactions were always weird and funny, even if they were a bit dramatic sometimes. The comments were also fun, and more like an actual conversation than several hundred people screaming at the top of their lungs.
He liked that her energy reminded him of an old friend of his.
-End, for now-
