sun and moon

how could i not look at him

as if he placed the stars in the sky

when like the moon, he brings

the light to my nights

and as if im the sun

he brings me to my knees

at the end of the day and i do

so eagerly because who else could

etch their name on my heart and

in my veins without even

touching my body

beforehand
