The Seasons Personified

I love the look of snow. I live the aesthetic of the white "fluff" against the darker color of the trees and buildings. It's the closest any one who sees in color can get to black and white. It makes think if Winter were a person, they'd be a very straightforward, introverted type of person. They'd be the type to sit and read in the comforts of their own home. They're cozy, but also very business. It is so different to it's counterpart, Summer.

Summer is hot and firey. It is filled with brilliant, vibrant colors. If Summer were a person, I'd describe them as confrontational and headstrong. They'd be the adventurous person who might get themselves into trouble. They'd be explosive and happy.

I find it so intriguing how the seasons are the direct opposites of each other.

Autumn contrasts so beautifully to Spring. They'd be the type to sit and watch as Winter and Summer argue, considering that Winter and Summer are so drastically different. The contrasts between Autumn to Spring would be the reason behind their friendship. The former, with darker reds, oranges, and browns, is reminiscent of warm coffees and teas. The latter, with their pastel pinks, oranges, greens, blues and yellows, makes one think of buds, blossoms and sweet lemonade. While leaves might fall in Autumn's time, Spring brings the leaves back. It's hard not to view them as a couple. Autumn picks the petals off the flowers and the leaves off the trees, playing the "they love me, they love me not" game, all while Spring is able to pick them up and put them back.

Autumn reminds me of the quiet poet or the aspiring artist. They're always eager to learn more, and they love spending time with people. I'd describe Autumn as the quiet observer, slightly lost in their own world.

Spring on the other hand is vibrant, though not as vibrant as Summer. They're gentle type of adventurous. They love to explore new things, but are also the type to go at the pace of others around them. They're gentle and sweet. I'd describe them as an empath who seeks to help others.
