put another dog on the bed
It’s going to be a cold one tonight,
so I put another dog on the bed.
My Loki boy swallowed the sun at some point
and he cooks me at night if I snuggle him too close.
But he’s super cushy, a big jock of a dog whose always nice to everyone and will keep you safe from the bullies.
Moth to a flame, I can’t help but wrap my arms around him and rub his pink belly while I drift into dreamland.
He’s part pig, part dog. Speaks in snorts and eye rolls. Wears a halo to cover his horns, he rarely uses his horns. He's more Low-key than Loki.
If you want to stay warm, he’s your pup. In fact I think I could fry an egg on him in a pinch, if he wouldn’t gobble it up first, he is part pig afterall.
Lola Jean is boney, never puts on weight, but she can spoon like a pro. You need a cuddle, she’s your pup. She’s the best nurse when you aren’t well, always there with a strong shoulder to lean on. Her soft black fur instantly comforting with her signature hug, big brown eyes telling you she loves you. Big dogs are worth the trouble.
Darwin, well, he’ll guard your feet. My little meatball. Full of fury and worry, one eye on the fan in case it decides to finally break free of its spot on the ceiling. Facing the door, always ready, he’s a rescue who knows monsters are real. You can always count on the pudge of his sweet, hairless belly to warm your feet even when they feel like icebergs.
He never flinches.
There isn’t a thing in the world that another dog on the bed can’t cure.
