The words from the old Selena Gomez song randomly popped into Petunia's head. She smiled at the catchy melody that she hadn't thought about for a while, and reflected on her good fortune. She had just met a hot doctor that offered her a clinical trial that would give her powerful strength. She was even paid $300 for taking the medicine. She had just left the doctor's office that was located in the otherwise abandoned mall, and she headed for her uber outside to go home.
Before she reached the exit, Petunia doubled over in pain. The flesh on her right arm melted off, leaving a large diamond in its place. The only thing Petunia liked was that the diamond matched her red dress. Petunia raced back to the doctor's office to question her mutation. When she reached the section of the mall where it was located, all she found was a wall.
"Everything is not what it seems indeed!" Petunia cried in despair.
