Challenge
A song, as a poem.
Choose a song you like, and adapt it into a poem, keep it PG-13, and say the inspiration for the choice. Don’t merely change some words, feel free to take much creative liberty but keep the core creative theme of the song as your poem. Another options is drawing the core theme of one or two songs and making a poem out of that.

The Woman in Black Chevrolet
Down that lonely bridge, every Sunday,
I see this woman in a black Chevrolet
Wearing a hoodie and a pair of shades,
You must notice her peculiar blood-tinted nails!
Fancying young men into her car,
She crotchets new stories, worth believing for!
The ones who got in, never really came back,
But you’ll see her every Tuesday, disposing a sack!
Does she feast on them or push them from a hill?
I do not know, for it’s a mystery still
You may find her pretty, but she is a trap
Once caught in her glances, there is no way back!
I do not know what the future might lay,
So keep an eye out for the woman in shades of grey
You can listen or ignore, but this is what I can say
Beware of the woman in black Chevrolet!
