You saw her from afar
You saw her from afar, you liked her
Not her attitude, charisma nor aura
Just her nudity, her body you wanted to see bare
You had her against her will, never again would she be normal
You saw her from afar, you longed after her
A five minutes pleasure, was all she was to you
With each thrust, you drilled in her a scar
What her crime was, she had no clue
You saw her from afar, you lusted after her
You ripped her clothes along with her dignity and pride
Therapists after therapists, she was asked to be strong, but courage from her, was long gone
Daily she prayed, pleading to the heavens to take her life
You saw her from afar, you wanted her
Painting her view of the world in shades of pain
Apprehensive she became, always looking behind her
Trying to flee from the demons produced by your immoral gain
You saw her from afar, you craved her
With dreams shattered and life’s essence, lost; an exit, she sought
From pain and grief she fled, unable to face everyone’s pitiful stare
Out of life’s ill fate she attempted an escape, never to fulfil all that she dreamt.
You saw her from afar, you yearned for her
From her scars she found strength, her pains became her mentor
Bearing each one like a medal, a victory from life’s lessons learnt
Wielding with grace, hope which fuelled her strength
You saw her from afar, you ached for her
The spark returned in her eyes, fiercer than ever and her will stronger than before
Her dreams she fulfilled, adding more to the list
For she was a queen, a victor and survivor
