from the universe with love
in the realm of the universe, there exists a pocket of star dust we call our existence.
we check the boxes, surviving and optimistic.
but humans seek greater opportunities if they make it far enough to hope for them.
when desire comes it flows, not like a river but like lava erupting out of a crevice we didn't know existed.
you seek it, but it alludes you.
this is the feeling of love.
when humans press themselves together, perhaps we are hoping for a future free of loneliness, of passing on genetics.
but more than that, we need to be with someone who can live forever under our umbrella, the smallest corner of a thankless universe.
teaching someone to love is like creating fire out of rocks, we do it for warmth and necessity, for survival, but also because we are drawn to the flames.
don't take it for granted. we are a ball of dust in an infinite galaxy, only wanting to make the moments we have last forever.
