Of my Dreams
O ’tis, I not find all of heaven’s light,
God dost pair them in his most gentle eyes.
Shining brighter than the candles at night.
Shall I examine thy of farthest skies?
Profess mine love greater than Earth’s to Sun.
Among the fairest of stars I take from, and
while I leave Earth and reap prize from Venus,
fit ornaments to decorate thy hand.
Stay at alters place to see Eosphoros
and to thee, I vow in faith famous words.
High’ st the notes ring in heaven chorus,
dost, not music, sounds sweet as my lord’s exchange.
Be by God to bless me in holy light,
O’ his eyes have all the stars of the night.
