A human by books.
Reading, what is it to us? For every individual it is something personal - it can be only a bedtime story that your mother read to you when you were five, a part of school program, or an endless wellhead of knowledge, a source of news and facts or just an option to relax by reading some magazines.
For me it always has been the way to escape in other realities: Wizarding World, Olympus or ancient Rome, Middle-earth and Narnia, or simply in past centuries. I was a witch and a hero, I saved the world with demigods and learned from best magicians. So what am I about to say by this - while fighting monsters and jumping from one word to another, I learned how to be a loyal friend, a reliable partner and how to stop worrying that I may not be loved by everyone and everywhere and I started being myself. I appreciate the way I think and how I look at the world, I value simplicity and kindness of my soul. I am thankful now.
The best part that literature has brought in my life is sympathy and ability to put myself into others' shoes. I learned that everyone has his own story of his life. Every person has his own monsters and wonders. This helps not to judge and to give chances( but not hundreds, I am not saint).
Together with this, of course, I felt such a bright variety of emotions while leafing through pages - characters' and my own - it taught me to always take into concideration people's feelings, but this made my life harder, because it is not easy to keep being kind and thoughtful in this rough world. But I won't stop caring, though it will be difficult, it's worth it. That is what all those words on paper taught me and should teach everyone.
