I'm expecting the worst.

My head and shoulders submersed in lies that I had been told to look out for,

But it isn't easy when everything's painted and masked.

I didn't expect to care,

I wanted to keep to myself.

I'm running full speed to nowhere,

And fading faster than I can bear.
