A student went for a walk with his professor, walking and talking along the way, they looked at clothes and a pair of old shoes of a poor peasant, who was working his field.

The student said to the professor: Let's make a little joke with this villager, hide his shoes from him and see his reaction when he starts to ask for them.

The professor replied: Boy, never make jokes at the expense of the misfortunes of others. Since you are rich, instead, you can experience more pleasure. Put a gold coin in each of his shoes, then we will hide behind the bushes and watch his reaction.
