Candle

As I watch the burning candle

I listen to the crackling of the wick

It makes me free like fall

And the leaves falling

Bonfires on a Friday night

Listening to the trees

And feeling the breeze on my skin

It helps me escape my loneliness

But only for a short time

Just enough to make me feel

Almost whole again

The scent brings back memories

Good memories

Ones you miss and wish you could still have again

But yet again just enough

To feel whole again

Even for a little while

Never lose sight in the beauty of nature and

Listen to the sounds of the trees

They are talking to you

You just have to listen!!!

Burn a candle and get mesmerized
