hired a babysitter

appears I hired a babysitter

unintentionally, but I did

I didn’t know I needed one

but on a ballot they were hid

my kids seem independent

the spouse and I both okay

we manage and we function

but apparently we have no say

was our educations inferior

or some decisions not divine

thought our goal to be successful

but I guess we got out of line

so we scratch and we ponder

all our way under a microscope

the sitter dismisses and reteaches

but when challenged we’re the dope
