Solitary Confinement
In the day and age of the pandemic, describe where you felt the most out of sorts with yourself. Whether it be because of the lack of human, family or friends interaction, or just in general.
Aimless
I still have classes, albeit virtually. Regardless, it still feels like the world keeps spinning and I remain standing still.
There's no more bell signifying the end.
There's no more greeting given to friends and teachers.
There's no more laughter when teachers crack a joke.
There's no more sense of belonging amid the void.
There's no need to rush for classes.
There's no need to sneak snacks.
There's no need to care about our appearance.
There's no need to guess about the canteen food of the day.
Everything changes when the pandemic starts. It symbolises a new era where everything we do and know may no longer remain the same.
