Untitled Sonnet
Toward the sky, shall I look up today?
To sail by wind, succeed by step action.
We see above the clouds a lighting grey;
In sail is strength and rig a skeleton
Who navigates a question, who and where
A channel marker a milestone, the same.
Adrift: off course, to port, to work, in fair
Afloat, traffic light up and flash your name
But cracked the seam of sunburned saltwater.
Captain goes down: the down is up in flip
Like head and tail two sides the room, quarter.
Filling the draining sea of land a slip
Out there a crimson horizon defrost
Our destination no longer is lost...
