Something that May or May Not Exist

I don't think such things exist in a world full of so much hatred and hurt and misery. I yearn for something that is not there. Something that, throughout all of history, we, as a society, have yet to discover.

Sometimes we think we have found what we are all looking for, but in the end, you're left with nothing and are stripped bare down to your very core. Left wanting more of this miraculous thing that, seemly, doesn't exist.

So if I could just have the smallest taste of the one thing we all crave, the thing all of our race chase, then maybe I could live my life without the haste of finding it before it's too late.
