The work is always unfinished

I spent all day writing, editing, rewriting. I spent the day rearranging words and deleting sentences in the hopes my piece would be better this evening than it was this morning. Whether it is or isn't is irrelevant though, because regardless of how good it may seem, it will never be good enough.
