Some Choose

The path of commerce,

The pursuit of commodity

And monetary gain,

Some Choose

The path of procreation,

The pursuit of improving

Or undoing

The doctrines of our parents,

I Have Chosen

The path of Poetry,

The pursuit of understanding

The world of my birth,

To burn like the Sun

In life,

And glow like the Moon

In death.
