Falling on and on

Right upon the left edge

Inside the fluffy cocoon of safety

Endless falling, on and on.

Men with knives, watching and waiting

Creeping but still, alive but dead

shadows and walls, shapes

darkness, watching and waiting.

People staring, all around

Eyes white and red

low on the floor

Deafening silence.

Static, Lightning, Wind

A little green dot, glowing and bright.

Just enough to drown

everything else out.

Flashlights pointing every which way.

Glowing shapes on the sealing.

In the dark

ready to sleep

What caused this little haunting?
