Exposed

Why do we naturally hurt the ones,

      In our hearts we hold so dear? 

Screaming words so harsh, 

      Our tears tremble with fear. 

words as sharp as Romeo's dagger, 

       Penetrate the soul. 

leaving spirits bewildered, 

      With every emotion exposed.
