Pumped Up Puppet Jumble Tongue#9

Cereal boxes two-stepping down canyon

the sewer bowels of too many units.

Furtive rats scurrying to night holes

on boxed wheels escaping the vice, which

squeezes bodies too small without mercy.

Into tableau steps pumped up puppet,

ebony silk cover stretched over framework

skeins of black wool escaping constraints

of rakish topper askew, front at the back

lower half covering cinched by woven rope.

London Bridge is falling down, falling down.

Peg holders tied tightly in entwined cotton

in readiness for puppet’s getaway pronto.

Manikin is creator of names, abstract designs

spumes canisters of liquid mist on blocked cement

marking his existence, evidence of his prowess.

Golden dawn sphere in puffy blue quilt embraces

signatures misplaced in everyday places.

Long snake held by many liquefies artwork

units willing to work for valuable green paper.

Rats return in crammed wheeled boxes while

pumped puppet does Rip Van Winkle

for long time no see until next time he froths.
