The amount of hatred, racial comments , and stereotypes I receive

I just try to be the best person i can

And I know its hard to believe

But I've reached the point where i cant stay quite

I took the time to look over my statistics

I just wish my friends wouldn't look at me like I'm some self righteous or know it all

Like a typical black male or as a convict

I wish my teachers wouldn't look at me like I'm some lazy idiotic
