On sleepless nights
I sit and reminisce
Of the fun things I miss
Of the crazy things we did
Of foolish fights
After school
We thought we was cool
Walking home wounded
Mama called me stupid
And whooped my ass.
On sleepless nights

Of crazy dogfights
Of sliding in mud
With our bare behinds
You’d have thought we was mad
I’d break the bank
For a chance to rewind
Knowing pretty well it can’t be
I do miss my childmind
Carefree and full of bliss
I was really happy.
