The Great Debate

I wish that I could tell you

exactly what I want.

But I find it quite taboo

when it comes to restaurants.

You ask me what I want to eat

and I say, "I'm not sure."

You drop your head low in defeat

while my expression stays demure.

"We do this every night my dear,

one day you'll have to pick."

but every time those words appear

I fear I may be sick.

"Please just choose, I'm begging you!"

You tease and also taunt.

I realize what I have to do!

"I'll eat whatever you want!"
