You Could Be Me...
Do you even see me here,
blinded by my pain and fear?
With quiet sobbing I am calling;
my eyes are swollen, tears are falling,
landing on my knees I’m pleading.
My hands now are wringing, kneading,
hoping this time you will see,
but for God’s grace, you could be me.
But for God’s grace, you could be me.
Hoping this time you will see,
my hands now are wringing, kneading.
Landing on my knees I’m pleading.
My eyes are swollen, tears are falling,
with quiet sobbing I am calling.
Blinded by my pain and fear,
do you even see me here?
