Surprise!
She held a bucket in her little hands,
full of multicolored beaded necklaces
knotted and stirred together.
“A cake for you Mom,
and I even put something special in it
to help you get better”, she said with a grin.
My fierce desire is that it would work, so she wouldn't
feel required to waste her childhood creating cakes
with 'something special' added to heal her broken mother.
