Reflection Choka
Time for a truly epic challenge. Write a Choka, a form of Japenese long poem. This is a group of lines of 5-7-5-7-5-7-5-7-7 syllables. It doesn't have to rhyme. I'm giving it a theme of reflection. Enjoy the process.
Blossom
It starts with a song
a fictional woman's croons
to her perception,
to expectation of man,
foreshadowed dissent-
-A determined face frozen
inches from the screen
immersed in coy messages
bigger than her growing mind
