Reflection Choka
Time for a truly epic challenge. Write a Choka, a form of Japenese long poem. This is a group of lines of 5-7-5-7-5-7-5-7-7 syllables. It doesn't have to rhyme. I'm giving it a theme of reflection. Enjoy the process.

Why do people say,
do not look back at the past?
How are we to know
just how far this road has gone?
To see the progress,
and reflect on the journey,
is the greatest gift.
Reflection on the past times
pushes us to be better.
