Untitled #1
There she stood.
Upon the railing
Where she would
Let out a smile
On the rocky shore
That is my mind
Was where she wore
My resistance down
She has left since
And it’s been a while
The sadness I evince
With somber thoughts
The pain I felt
Was overwhelming
But it had been dealt
With a swiftness
While I evaded her soul,
I saw her standing
On top of the knoll
Upon the railing
Memories became my friend
Uttering life back to me
They stayed until the very end
Showing the sights I’ve seen
O, but no matter what
She stayed with me
To let me abut
Now I see the reason
She went away
To tell me straight
I had to find my own way
To stand without a railing
Now, within the sea of red
I found
Serenity, though unsaid,
Creeping
The last breath came out of me
My eyes came to a close
Until I could only see
Her once more.
