Friendship and Friends
Some of the best people in my life are friends. They are always there for me, waiting if I need somebody to cry with. They are there, have always been there, will always be there, for me. I tell them things. They listen. They don't tell people my secrets. We laugh together. We are always there for each other, good times and bad. Some of my friends can make me laugh on the worst days. And, somehow, laughing is not always what occurs. I also become truly happier, like a weight was lifted off my chest. My friends are so kind and generous. I don't know what I could do without them. But I also don't know if I can ever pay them back for all they have done for me--I'm a grump, and they cheer me up. I try to cheer them up, but they aren't grumpy. I always feel like we are racing, and I am losing. I will never be able to be as good of a friend to them as they are to me, and, friends out there, I'm sorry. I try.
Life wouldn't be as amazing as it is without friends. It is essential. Nobody can argue. This is not so much of entering this challenge, although I did, and my answer is friends. It is more of a shoutout to all the amazing people out there--my friends--that have helped me become the person I am.
Thank you.
