Monsters or horses

My days are filled with joy,

but my nights become monsters

lurking about trying to devour,

like I'm just a toy,

dragged down by that boy

My mind twists realities 

showing only the worst in the vivid encounter

I swear the devil uses them,

to discourage and to tempt

but useless are his attempts

I serve a God bigger than that

One who reminds me of joy 

and changes my night-mares 

to bareback rides through open fields

on a white horse only God could provide
