Warrior Poet
Warrior!
Warrior poet!
Come spend some time with me
Warrior!
Warrior poet!
Come change my world to your reality
Set me upon your wings
Show me all those special things
For you alone my heart sings
Allow me to fly high with kings
Take me beyond time and space
Enter me into that sacred place
Where a Holy God rests his face
Allow me to bless the human race
Warrior!
Warrior poet!
Let lightnin' spit from my lips
Bless the enemy within my grips
Let the thunder roll
Deep inside my soul
Watch over me as I lose control
Touch my heart mend the hole
Bless my feet
To crush all who try to compete
Put an end to all deceit
Let not my eyes see defeat
Warrior!
Warrior poet!
Bring me the moon
To See me through the night
Let the sun come soon
To shine so bright
To a world in ruin
Let me be a light
To the man and the silver spoon
Let me do what’s right
Change his tune
And in his mind teach him how to fight
Warrior!
Warrior poet!
From all oppression set me free
Warrior!
Warrior poet!
Place upon my head a crown of true liberty
Come teach me of the mystery starin' back at me
Take me by the hand
Show me the beauty of the land
Alone with you I’m willin' to stand
As you make life so grand
Allow me to be holy sacred and pure
Embrace me when I feel so insecure
Release me from the fear
That haunts me year after year
Tear after tear
Warrior!
Warrior poet!
Utter dark sayings into my world
Of the ancient the old
And the bold
Let the story be told
Bring to my mind revelation
As I lose myself in your creation
Let love be my hearts meditation
Take me beyond just another sweet sensation
When it comes to the glory train lead me to the station
Warrior!
Warrior poet!
Upon a whirlwind let me ride
With my little world let your heaven collide
Do away with all my pride
Teach me of the other side
Give me a taste of the kingdom on high
For it I’m willin' to die
Without a tear in my eye
Remember to you I ran
Like you I’m a man
And for your council I’ll do all I can
Warrior!
Warrior poet!
Thank you for openin' my heart to receive
Warrior!
Warrior poet!
Thank you for somethin' in which to believe
