Of the Finest Arts
An all-consuming madness,
Unquenchable desire,
That pulls me from my slumber
And lifts my heart from blackness.
Or perhaps that same need
Brings the darkness to me.
I will not be satisfied with anything but the best.
The finest, fit for a Queen,
The most decadent, crafted to adorn me.
Money holds no interest,
Only the finer arts please me.
I have morals,
Truly I do,
Just not when it comes to this.
Such finery lights a fire in me,
Any rational thoughts flee.
A raw passion,
An insatiable thirst,
Greed is not greed when it comes to me.
