Earthly Tomb

I cannot wait anymore - this pain I must endure is a damn chore, for sure 

This world has won. I'm finished, I'm done. This pain, insane, is no fun 

Even walking on earth, I'm trapped under dirt, so hurt

This world is brutal, cruel, and so curt 

I'm burnt, in a damned soak 

I'm just not pure. 

I am filthy, wrecked. Heart has rampant raging left unchecked 

Foolish man! Don't you think I rage against this numbness? 

I cannot speak now - Hah! Such damn dumbness 

Such cards stacked on me; I'm decked 

Just give me peace. 

Hand me bliss - this eternal bliss You claim. Do You feign? 

Or do You seek to seal me in the tomb? 

I'm shouting Your holy name 

Am I doomed? 

Blade in my broken hand - pain now a friend

Rocks bury me, my arms bend 

I'm in my tomb. 

This soft barrel against my temple feels so warm, so warm. 

And being around this Earthly tomb feels so cold, so cold.
