Guilt

Maybe I should go back in time.

Tell every person what's on my mind.

Say sorry to the Lord for doing the crime.

Be true to yourself, God isn't blind.

We all mess up once and a while.

When it all hits the fan, keep it on file.

Tell it to God and let him know you're sorry.

Sincerely, dearly, Lord forgive me.

He hears you and always has your hand.

To guide and protect you, help you stand.

After all, who takes the guilt all alone?

Not me, not you, God is always on the phone.

He'll listen and reply- tell him your issue.

Don't be surprised if your grabbing a tissue.

Crying is okay, it's good for a day.

God works with us, he'll show you the way.

He's the best listener you'll ever meet.

And then responds by moving your feet.

Forward, keep going, God has a plan.

Don't look down, God says "you always can."

The guilt that you're feeling is forever okay.

If you give it to God it won't hurt every day. Guilt is just a feeling we all have some day.

But it's the way you handle the guilt on your day.

Be proud and give away your guilt, God is waiting.

Now open your mouth and forgive yourself for waiting.
